When Pen entered Secondary One, she had to encounter so many changes:

  1. Lessons suddenly got a lot tougher in secondary school

  2. Her days became twice as long as primary school due to her CCA

  3. She suddenly had twice as many subjects to learn

  4. She had to make a new set of friends from scratch

On hindsight, the ages 13 to 14 are some of the toughest you have to weather as a parent, as your child is undergoing so many changes along the secondary school journey.
